Amy McPherson

My name is Amy McPherson, and I am a graduate student in the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a research assistant I am pursuing a PhD in microfluidics. Currently, my research involves designing and fabricating a lab-on-a-chip device that counts subpopulations of white blood cells. I intend to build a medical device startup company upon completion of my degree. Additional information is on my personal webpage.
